Eternity

What is Eternity?

For some it doesn’t exist. For others they are certain there is. So, what is Eternity? Sounds scary but it remains a non negotiable factor of life: as to what come next after life, will I close my eyes in awe an wish for the worst or the best.

According to Collins dictionary Eternity is time without an end or a state of existence outside time, especially the state which some people believe they will pass into after they have died.

I have always found the thought of eternity terrifying.
…laying him to rest for all eternity.

Synonyms: the afterlife, heaven [informal]paradise, the next world  More Synonyms of eternity.

We will go into it in a more detailed approach at the latter stage.

But point to note that Eternity is a time without end, how man was supposed to be or exist. Just like the Creator. One who will never die.

Let’s cast our minds back to Eden where it all started. Adam a free man living in a free world. Overlooked an instruction and faced penalties, which happens to be a cutoff in life journey. To be continued in an afterlife, because Gods’ plans are unchanging but the events of it happening may change. Like man is supposed to live forever in this life and planet called earth. Due to sin events change and he is to continue living after life on earth.

Eternity is not just a word is a world. A time without time, a life without death. So with this said what next. Why should we worry for what we can’t control, what we can’t evaluate or predict the start or finish. Well here comes the real worry of all. Many men pass through a lot in life – this life and wish to end it by suicide. Untold of how horrific it will certainly be to open their eyes in a greater sorrow and you know what a kind that will never end. So what is the “hope”, there is hope. But it all starts here in this life.

As a gospel blog, let’s that a quick dive to Scriptures and see what our Patriarchs have to say. In 1 Corinthians 15:19 King James Version (KJV) says: If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.

Meaning this is not the end not just to a believer but also to a sinner out there to the pagan the other religious followers of a certain man or being. Life is hopeless without a view of eternity.

Now back to the hope, that hope my friends is in Christ the crucified. You know when ever we go to take the communion I cry deep in my heart for such a love prescribed and also described; unto us a son is born unto us a child is given. Yes, he was given. That man Christ Jesus of Nasareth was given and a died on that old rugged cross for me and you.

So, cheer up my friends there is hope in this life and also in the one to come. When we close our eyes in death when our heart can no longer resist death then we met him at the entrance to our eternity. Such a wonderful hope a life with the life giver himself.

Now, you might still be estranged to this man, its alright, I know, I know you go to church I now you sing in the choir I know I know all that. I also know you’ve tried and fail but he is still at the door of your heart if you can open the door he will come in and sup with you. And you know what in dining you discuss you know no each other better. Don’t just allow him in and forget about him, friend take care of him I mean good care of him and then he will reveal the secrets of life to you. For he is the Great teacher, The Rabbi, our Author and Finisher of our faith.
