What about my tithe?
Will a man rob God? This question dates far back before Christianity started and has since been an object of debate, whether or not we should pay our tithe. Let's start from the beginning, in the time of Cain and Abel. Genesis 4:3 And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the LORD. Here we see that Cain brought an offering unto God. I can also say that this was a tithe because it was a measure of what he earn as a labourer tilling the ground. From the beginning God demands to receive from men a portion to show their love and relationship to Him. Now, what will a relationship be without giving and receiving from both end. What cements a relationship is when the both parties are faithful in giving and receiving. Deities on the other hand give and expect to receive from men a sacrifice of blood or food kind .
