Stay with Him an HOUR

Could you not watch with me an hour. An hour with God keeps the devil away. It adds strength for the journey ahead. Most of the grace I enjoy now can be sourced from my hours of prayer with God. One of the reason man fail every time to please God is that they don't seek for His guidance. It may look like oh am born again am a child of God and they live everyday without taking a time out to seek for His guidance, strength, power to resist the tempter every step of the way. And when the whiles of the devil comes their way they fall and sometimes never come back and then some will say oh it's hard to serve God.

Yes it is, you know why, it's spiritual it is 99% spiritual and 1% physical. 1 Samuel 2:9 (KJV); He will keep the feet of his saints, And the wicked shall be silent in darkness; For by strength shall no man prevail.

Eph. 6:13; Therefore take the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

...and having done all to stand, all your 1% to stand, PRAY let prayer become your lifestyle. If the disciples of Christ had prayed earlier on with the Master they would have acted differently.

Prayer is an essential commodity and a means of exchange between God and man. So to maintain a good relationship with God you have to pray. 

In fact, every religion prays. So yours can't be different. Some pray 3 times daily, others more. Prayer deepens your interest your commitment your intimacy with the Master the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. So make it a duty to pray at least an hour each day. Remember the word of Christ to His disciples - "Could you not watch with me an hour."

The Spirit is willing but the flesh is weak.

He said to Peter, “Couldn't you watch with me even one hour? Keep watch and pray, so that you will not give in to temptation. For the spirit is willing, but the body is weak!” Then Jesus left them a second time and prayed, “My Father!

Begin now to declare your love to the Father. Tell him how you love him. declare declare declare that love right there. Father we declare that we love you, we declare our everlasting love for you. Thank Him for the cross thank Him for the blood. Tell Him to enlarge your appetite for Him. Yes talk to God right now right there where you are. You can put up a worship song to stair you up for fire for prayer. You can turn spiritual in a moment in a second in an hour, your tongue can be changed. Give Him a space. Tell Him to invade your space and have his way, Jesus. May the Lord give you strength.
